well thank God that they have that "exclusive" contract with AT&T (that i will never switch to) and the sim hacks look to be a lot of hassle (so far), and that they use itunes.
or i would definitely buy one. seriously. i thought about this for a while.
by "quick" i mean you can "quickly" click the link. it's 5 pages. haha.
Mostly because it's the month before September. And why is September exciting?

www.twitter.com
does anyone use this? is it useful? i signed up for this a while back but i never used it. but i sign up for a lot of things that i dont use for several weeks/months/years/never.
but i'm hearing a lot of buzz on it in more places than 1 that are unrelated.
so i'm just wondering, thoughts?
now don't get me wrong. i still watch if it there is some sporting even on that i would want to watch. and there are decent reporters and writers/journalists on staff that still approach their job as news and not entertainment. But it just seems that the majority of the time their job is to sensationalize and not to be unbiased. But there was a point you could tell MTV just really had nothing to do with music anymore. And now MTV pretty much embodies all evil in the society (our parents were right! dangit!). ESPN is heading there pretttttyyyyy fast. But it's not really that big a deal. Thanks to the jillion blogs about all your sports teams and youtube, they won't be missed.
(this isn't like i'm saying ESPN is going anywhere, or won't be #1 forever. I mean, look at MTV)
it's like i'm discovering the mp3 all over again.
There are always a gajillion thoughts bouncing around in my head and often they are in groups. like work thoughts, life thoughts, future thoughts, church thoughts. So this internet thing, as i have learned, is pretty magical, much like those weird people at Hogwarts. Apparently they took all of my church thoughts, and wrote them down much more coherently than I could ever have. Ok, not all my thoughts, but a nice chunk.
Here is the link. (please read it before continuing)
I haven't read the response articles yet. I will some other time.
EDIT: I read the first response. Briefly skimmed is more like it. In it she (Dr. Riggs) said something that is perhaps my biggest fear in vox veniae.
"In other words, the word of caution is this: remember that there is a thin line between a reactionary posture that debunks in order to dismiss the traditional churches and a creative posture that unmasks failure for the sake of making space for something authentically new to emerge."
i think we are on the latter. i hope so at least.
